Thankful Thursday 5.25.17

Here are a few things I’m thankful for this week:

  1. Sleep. Your body does it’s best healing when you’re asleep. 
  2. Job security. 5 years ago I landed in a random prison library job, and it’s turned out to be a great fit for me with great benefits and lots of job security. My position isn’t going anywhere, and nobody else wants it. 🙂
  3. Books. Ah, books. 
  4. Kale. The oldest loves it, I love it, the hubby loves it, and he grows it in our garden. 
  5. Youth sports coaches. They do the good work of teaching kids to work together, support each other, and to win and lose with grace.
