30 Days to Summer Challenge

On May 22, we begin our 30 day countdown to the first official day of summer! I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent too much time every summer too hot because my light, summery clothes didn’t fit quite right.  Before this year, I’d try to get a little smaller than the summer before so that my clothes were more comfortable and I wouldn’t have to settle for wearing pants when it was hot out. But it never really happened.

But guess what? I joined up with this Beachbody Coaching thing, and I’ve finally found the environment I need to maintain healthy habits that work for my body. I’m surrounded by people who are working to take the best care of themselves that they possibly can, and it has made all the difference. Thanks to the encouragement, support, and examples set in my challenge groups and from my coaching teammates, I’ve made changes in my diet and lifestyle that are working for my body, and helping me manage ailments like Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and osteoarthritis in my lower back. I have more energy, I don’t get bloated from eating any of the foods currently in my diet, and I feel stronger. The shorts that were a too tight last summer fit right now, and are even a little loose.

BUT, I still have work to do. Now that I’m starting to feel good everyday, I’m ready to focus on comfortably wearing some of those cute dresses, tank tops, and shorts I haven’t worn in years. So if you have goals, I’ll help you come up with a plan to meet those goals. I’ll recommend a program that fits your needs and ability where you are now, I’ll help you plan meals, I’ll share recipes, I’ll help you dig into why you have these goals, and remind you all along the way why they’re important to you.
